Sending your kid to a summer camp in the US and

The summer camps in the US are a great place for children
from all around the world to meet each other, have great
experience, while improving their English skills.
Children who are Israeli citizens need to apply for a US visa before leaving to the summer camp in US.
* US visa for children divides into two ages group,
children up toage 14 and children 14 to 18 years old.

* Visa application process for children at the age of 14-18:
1. Fill the DS-160 form at the embassy website.
You will fill the child personal information, the purpose of your
trip– summer camp in the US.
2. Pay the fee at the embassy website. The payment request
will follow the completion of DS-160 form. After completing the
payment process, a confirmation number and a receipt will be
provided to you.
The fee amount for children is the same as for adults and
changes occasionally.
3. Schedule an appointment for your visa interview at the US
embassy in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. Please note that the child
must arrive to the interview with one of hisher parent or with
legal guardian.
The following documents are required for the interview:
Confirmation page for filling the form DS-160*
Invitation letter for the interview*
*A valid passport
Passport picture 5*5 on a white background*
Receipt for payment of the fee*
*Consent document from both parents that allows the child to
travel to the summer camp in the US.
*Evidence that shows that the parents run their life center in
Israel, such as paychecks, ownership of assents, etc.
Once the interview is over, the embassy officer will inform you
weather your request is approved or declined.
If your request is approved, you will get your passport within 10
days via Israel post;
If your request is declined, you’ll get your passport right away.

Visa application process for children at the age of 0-14:
The process of issuing a visa for children under the age of 14 is
similar to the process described above accepts the fact that an
interview is not required. Therefore, the process is the following:
1. Fill Form DS-160
2. Pay visa request fee
3. Send all the above mentioned documentד to one of the US embassies via Israel Post You’ll get your passport back within 3 weeks.
